Beware of “discount” transmission shops!
Some repair shops will do anything to make a buck. On any given day of the week you can open up the local newspaper and see advertisements saying “Rebuilt transmission for $395!” I won’t lie, that IS a great price. However, like most things, this is just too good to be true. What the ad doesn't tell you is all of the shortcuts that are taken to bring the price down.
Many of our “discount” competitors use lesser quality or used parts to fix transmissions. In most cases, they may not even replace all of the necessary parts to ensure a job well done.
Now, if you are in the market to save a couple of bucks, then by all means, take your car to a “discount” repair shop. Chances are, your car will break down again.
For the smart consumer who wants a job done right the first time, don’t be fooled by the competition. Bring your car down to Lee Myles on Remsen Avenue for the highest quality work around. You won’t be disappointed!
Lee Myles is nationally recognized for superior service and repair while offering one of the best warranties in the business.
